1. The electromagnetic flowmeter shows minimum reading or has no display: the sensor has no flow signal output. Reasons include power failure, connection cable failure, sensor or converter element damage, excessive minimum cut-off flow, process reasons include changes in liquid flow conditions, and problems with the adhesion layer of the process pipeline.
2. The electromagnetic flowmeter shows maximum reading: In addition to the actual operating conditions exceeding the range, the reasons for the instrument itself include: signal circuit open circuit, connection cable failure, wiring error, etc., sensor and converter matching errors, electromagnetic flowmeter setting error.
3. The electromagnetic flowmeter display is too high or low: the zero point of the meter is not adjusted or set; the sensor installation position does not meet the requirements; the straight pipes before and after the sensor cannot meet the requirements; the tube cannot be fully filled with liquid or the liquid contains air bubbles; The insulation of the sensor electrode drops.
4. Electromagnetic flowmeter shows fluctuations: the main interferences are stray current, static electricity, electromagnetic waves, and magnetic fields on the pipeline. The reasons for the electromagnetic flowmeter itself are: oxidation of the wiring terminal; poor contact of the circuit board; contamination of the measuring electrode; improper installation of the gasket; pipe not fully filled with liquid; the liquid containing air bubbles; and the grounding unreliable.
