How to use Differential pressure transmitter with double remote seal to measure differential pressure, flow, level, interface level and density.

1. Attentions for differential pressure measurement of Differential pressure transmitter with double remote seal of flange connection. ( Differential pressure range of 0- 50KPa )

1.1 When the Differential pressure transmitter with double remote seal is installed under atmospheric pressure, the current PV value shall be set as zero to ensure that the differential pressure value, output current value and instrument range remain consistent. Differential pressure range is 0-50kpa, not need adjust the instrument zero point when measuring differential pressure.
1.2 If HART475 can not do zero clearing, user can use the transmitter’s buttons to do zero clearing.
1.3 Capillary of double remote seal shall be fixed firmly.

 

2. Attentions for flow measurement of Differential pressure transmitter with double remote seal of flange connection. ( Differential pressure range of 0- 50KPa )

2.1 When the Differential pressure transmitter with double remote seal is installed under atmospheric pressure, the current PV value shall be set as zero to ensure that the differential pressure value, output current value and instrument range remain consistent. Differential pressure range is 0-50kpa, not need adjust the instrument zero point when measuring flow rate.
2.2 If HART475 can not do zero clearing, user can use the transmitter’s buttons to do zero clearing.
2.3 Capillary of double remote seal shall be fixed firmly.

 

3. Attentions for level measurement of Differential pressure transmitter with double remote seal of flange connection. ( Differential pressure range of 0- 50KPa )

3.1 When the Differential pressure transmitter with double remote seal is installed under atmospheric pressure, the current PV value shall be set as LRV, measuring liquid level need to do negative migration, migration quantity = ρgh, ( ρ is silicone oil’s density )
Range low limit: LRV = ρgh
Range high limit: URV =ρgh + 50
3.2 Capillary of double remote seal shall be fixed firmly

 

4. Attentions for interface level measurement of Differential pressure transmitter with double remote seal of flange connection. ( Generally DP range is very small )

4.1 It is range low limit when the medium in the vessel is light medium. LRV = ρ1gh.
4.2 It is range high limit when the medium in the vessel is heavy medium. URV = ρ2gh.
4.3 Range =ρ2gh -ρ1gh
4.4 When the Differential pressure transmitter with double remote seal is under atmospheric pressure, do not set PV value as zero point, do not do zero clearing.

 

5. Attentions for density measurement of Differential pressure transmitter with double remote seal of flange connection.

5.1 By analogy, since the Differential pressure transmitter with double remote seal of flange connection can be used to measure differential pressure according to the formula ρgh, the density of the measured medium can be calculated by differential pressure, gravity acceleration and liquid level height.
