Here are the steps for debugging of high-frequency radar level transmitter.

Step 1 : Observe the initial interface before debugging:

If the lower left shows ok that the radar signal is normal and can be debugged. If the radar can not work normally, the initial interface will display the number of meters, but the lower left will show EO3, indicating no DB signal.

Step 2: Watch the curve

  1. Press the button BK at the initial interface to the interface of echo curve, you can see a line that goes up from the left and down to the right. The highest part of the line is radar signal, there is a black solid small arrow at convex parts above the left. Observe if the upper right two rows of numbers are the same. If the same it indicates that the measurement is stable. If the measurement is not stable, there will be two small arrows on the left high and right low line, and they will move back and forth less than overlap, and the numbers in the top two rows on the right will change differently.

  1. View how much DB the signal strength is.

Press the button OK at the initial interface —- press the button circle to the diagnosis — press OK to measure the peak interface — press button circle to the measurement state interface to view, how much DB the measurement reliability is, 10db or more can ensure the stable measurement. Press the BK twice to return.

Step 3:  Basic settings

Power to the initial interface, press the OK once to the basic settings — press OK to enter the low level adjustment —– press OK once —- with the button circle and the button UP to adjust the distance from flange to the bottom of the tank. The button Circle can be cyclically shifted, the button UP can cycle the number —– press OK to confirm, ——- press the button Circle to enter the high level adjustment —- press ok —- with the button circle and the button UP to adjust the high level dead zone, also known as 20mA output, is distance from flange to the highest level —- press OK to confirm, —- press the button Circle down to the range setting —- press ok —- If the tank is tapered at the bottom, increase the existing figure by 30-50 cm. Do nothing for tanks with flat bottom. Use the button circle and the button ↑to adjust – press OK to confirm, – press BK twice to Exit, the basic settings are completed.

Step 4: Create a new curve, shielding false echo.

Power to the initial interface, press OK once —– press the button circle to the service — press ok once to the false echo — press OK once — press circle to the new — press OK once – adjust the distance to the flange and distance to the level surface with button circle and UP – press ok to confirm – press BK four times to exit, the new curve is completed.

Step 5: Display adjustment of empty height and material height

At the initial interface, press ok  —- press circle to display —- press ok to enter “Display Content” —- press ok to the interface of display content adjustment —- press circle to, the distance is empty height, the material height is the material level height, chosen by the customer —- press ok to confirm — press BK twice to exit, debugging is complete.

Step 6: Bias difference can be adjusted within 50 cm.

Press the ok at the initial interface—- press the button circle to enter the service — press OK once to enter —- and press the circle downward until the interface of distance deviation —-. Press OK once and use the circle and up to adjust the number to the appropriate number. Then —– press ok to confirm — press BK twice to exit. That’s all.
